BTA still not finished splitting....

My BTA has not finished splitting as of 7:00am this morning.
It has been 48 hours since it started to split.
The two halves are still attached by a thin piece of flesh.
Is it time for me to start worrying?
The BTA looks fine otherwise. Both halves are fully inflated and open.

I'd like a pic. I know someone had a BTA around here that had trouble splitting and finally didn't make it.

What kind of lights do you have? In the pics the right side (which you said was shaded from the flash) looks very pale and almost transparent, which leads me to believe the split is caused by stress.
Personally, I would cut the remaining flesh and hope for the best. However, if your lights aren't sufficient to begin with there might not be much chance left.
Good luck with it.

Lights are 260 watt PC mounted approx. 1" above water surface over a 55 gal.
BTA is about 6" below surface, so approx. 7" away from the light.
