My LTA does that when he is disturbed, or after I feed him, like the next day or so, he will get small and regurgitate what he didn't want. Next day, just fine. Doesn't do it everyday though. Make sure your water is OK!

Sounds like he's pooping! Mine does that a couple of days after I feed him. Sometimes squeezing down to the size af a half dollar. All you see are very thin tips sticking out. If he catches extra food in between feedings, he'll poop again. My guy has been doing this every other day for the past week (only fed him once). He catches some Mysis whenever I feed the tank (usually dropped by a shrimp). As far as I know, nothing to worry about.

Sounds like he's pooping! Mine does that a couple of days after I feed him. Sometimes squeezing down to the size af a half dollar. All you see are very thin tips sticking out. If he catches extra food in between feedings, he'll poop again. My guy has been doing this every other day for the past week (only fed him once). He catches some Mysis whenever I feed the tank (usually dropped by a shrimp). As far as I know, nothing to worry about.

What are you feeding?
How often are you feeding?
Are there any other corals next to your anemoen that might be irritating it?
Did you check water paramiters, temp, salinity?
