if you keep it up high and you make sure to change your bulbs every few months then yes, i have seen it done. But there is still skepticism as to if it will survive an extended period of time (years). seeing how they are suspected to be pretty much immortal in the wild. afterall, when do you put an end on the age of an animal that splits to reproduce?
