i just pull them off by hand, some say emerald crabs eat it, but mine never did. just be careful not to pop them, as it will make more.

In my experience with them my emeralds did eat some I also took the rock out that had them to see how fragile they are and found them not to be fragile at all I used a knife and cut them off

i get mine out while doing a water change, i use a syphone to suck the water out and while its sucking water out i try to pull them out with one hand while i hold the syphone next to it just in case it pops so it will suck out the spores..

You can even twist and pull some off with some salt water tongs, Careful, dont pop! My emeralds had no interest in it whatsoever.

The interesting thing about bubble algae is that they are the worlds largest single cells! Each bubble is one cell, neat huh?
Emeralds usually eat them. If you get a lot of them, they look pretty, but eventually will take over an aquarium.
See how everything goes for the next few months and see if you like it and everything. If not, and if there is a ton of them, I say restart and take a non-used toothbrush and scrub the rocks and then rinse them off with saltwater to get the rest of it off.
I've never had a bubble algae problem, thank God. Good luck!

I dig mine out with a stainless steel dental pick. Ask you dentist for an old one. They can only use them so many times and then toss em. Mine was happy to give me a handful.
Dig into the rock around the bubble.
