Bubble Coral Placement

I just received a green bubble coral. Its about 5 inches across and 2 inches wide. I got if free from my son's science teacher. I have it in my tank (after drip acclimating for an hour). I put it sideways on my rocks so that it is facing the front of the tank. Is this okay or should I face it up? Thanks.

I leave my bubble facing up and he is doing great. It doesn't like a real heavy flow, but it loves food. I have also noticed that he prefers to be on the live rock instead of the sand bed. Make sure you keep it away from other corals since it is very aggressive.

Its on the LR, center of tank, moderate water flow. Hasn't opened up completely yet as I just put it in last night with the mh's off but the vho's still on for a couple of hours. Was still sleeping this morning. Can't wait to see what it looks like when I get home.
I'll see how it is tonight and then maybe move it so its facing up.

It seemed to me that the brighter the lights, the smaller the size of the bubbles, and more of them. Further from the light, I had bigger expansion and larger bubbles. I did fine tilting mine forward a bit.
