Bubble Tip Anemone

Is a bubble tip anemone supposed to "stick" to a rock? Ive had one for a month or more, twice it has blown up huge and fallen flat on its face, ive heard it will do this when its not happy and try to move. Now if a strong current comes it will blow it over onto the crushed coral. I cant reach the bottom of my tank and need to use utensils to get him back up, I dont want to damage him, he is in a spot with no corals touching him. he does look healthy, I have been reading that it should stick to a rock, mines just sitting on it

I would not try to move it. Moving a nem can do more harm than good. I would just keep a close eye on it and try feeding it (don't feed too often). If it starts to disintegrate or look mushy, then I would remove it ASAP.

Can you tell us about your tank? He doesn't sound like a happy nem. Maybe we can pinpoint the problem?

Sure, by the way I meant that I only moved it when he fell.
50 gallon, Uv steralizer, Protein skimmer/filter. 2x wave maker.
Lights: 4x 39watt HO (2 blue 2 white) + moonlight LED
Blue tang (will be moved to other tank when he gets bigger), 2 black clown fish, red corris wrasse, blue starfish, tropical sea abalone, few hermits and snails. I have other corals such as: kenya tree, green finger leather, leather mushrooms, frogspawn, sea fan.. few others
I feed him a small peice of "white whole fish" once a week
PH: 8.4
temp: 26-27 degrees celcius
Nitrate/Ammonia/Nitrite = 0
Salinity = 0.025
I dont have calcium/phosphate results but I can get them if needed.
heres a pic of him on a happy day

Actually I must add, first time i fed him he spat it back out the next day, I assumed the peice was too big, since then I have fed him really small peices, few days ago I saw a peice that I had fed him on the bottom of the tank, and I have fed him yesterday and now the fish is sitting back on top of him. he dosent seem to keep it down

Your lights are pc's? With his tentacles enlongated like that, the first thing coming to mind is that he is starving for light.
