Hey,
i have a rose BTA, and i have had it for 3 weeks.
Ever since i saw it in the LFS, until now, its tips are not
Bubbley at all. He eats very good, i just fed him a silverside
yesterday, and he ate it right away, and i have been feeding him twice a week ever since i got him.
But my question is.. why are his tenticles not bubbley?
They are not stringy, they are a little thick, but i never saw him
with bubble tips. I have a 92 corner reef, and he is on the bottom (24'') ans i have 240 watts of PC, and 250 watts
of MH.
My water conditions are:
cal- 450ppm
sal- 1.025
ammonia- 0
nitrite- 0
nitrate- 0
ph- 8.3
Any suggestions?
THanks,
Adam
:)

Mine is the same way, and I have seen pictures of many other peoples that are the same way. I did some research on it and found that no one knows why they sometimes have bubble tips and sometimes not. At the LFS, mine had bubble tips, and now they are just as your described, thick but straight.
Sorry i couldnt be of more help to you, just maybe a reassurance that the same thing is going on with a lot of other people
