bubble tip question

I received my first bubble tip yesterday and it seems to have put itself inbetween two rocks down at the sandbed. it looks as if part of it is under the rock in the sand bed. should i move it or just let it be. i personally don't like when it went since it can't be seen very well.

I would leave it for a few days. It needs to adjust to your conditions and when it is ready it will come out looking for the light and hopefully settle in on some of your rock. Just be patient with it, but watch it closley.

thanks, it inflated and it looks so nice. I hate to have it hidden behind and inbetween two rocks! I noticed that when i turn the lights off at night it deflates and when the lights come back on with in a few minutes it is all inflated again. is this normal?

I am so mad about my BTA for the same reason. he settled in to a place in the middle of the tank kind of half hidden but half out so I was sorta ok with that
..he was there for a few weeks...THEN.... this am I get up and guess where he is...Fully open as beautiful as can be staring straight at the back of my tank !!! at least a good foot from where he's been. Now you can hardly see him. Hopefully he'll change his mind and move again

I feed mine mysid shrimp and other fish food through a tube with a little bulb on the end that I just squeeze and it floats into his mouth. Kind of like a very long thin turkey baster.

I bought the hard rigid plastic tube from pet store. they come in different circumfrances and about 3 ft long but you can of course cut them down. I put an eye dropper bulb at the end and you can use it to push it out of the tube. just add a tiny bit of aquarium water to your thawed mysids and suck em up the tube and then woosh em in to the anemone's mouth. he'll love it!
