Congrats!
A healthy BTA will be dark tan in color, with a tan/whitish foot. Have the LFS feed it to ensure that it is taking food (and that the tenticles react to food), then purchase it the next day or so (i've read somewhere that they shouldn't be transported after eating). Make sure the foot isn't torn or damaged.
To put him in the tank, either drip acclimate or temp acclimate. I drip acclimated mine, then picked it up (very gross) and placed it in the tank. It is recommended you wear gloves, because you don't know how your body will react. Most people don't have an allegeric reaction to it so they can touch it all they want.
Place it near/on the rockwork (not too high so if it falls it doesn't get injured) and let it go where it wants to. If you try to move it, eventually it will just move to where it is best suited (flow/lights/cave).
Since you have night lighting you really won't have to feed it much. I would recommend the first few weeks to feed it small pieces of shrimp every fourth day or so - just to nurse it back from being transported. At that point once it is attached to the rock and fully extended, then really once MAYBE every two weeks if at all.
