Bubble Traps?

I'm assembling a sump out of a 50 gallon tank. I will have the skimmer on one side, the fuge in the middle and the return pump on the other side. So basically its a flow thru sump and my question is on a set up like this, will I need to put a bubble trap between the fuge and the return pump? If so how far apart should the baffles be? Thanks for any help

I have 1.5 - 2 inch gap in my baffle befor the return pump and works fine for me even with a 900+ gph flow rate, I throttled it back for other reasons but no micro bubbles got by.

in most situation under 900 GPH 1" baffles will be fine. If you happen to have a few microbubbles get through you can always put a filter sock at the end of the drain line.
