I guess you will have to be the judge of that...I am one that think stress causes a BTA to bubble its tips as well as for defence if it feels threatened....
Please tell, how long you have had them and did they have bubbled tips when you first got them ?

Like Dogstar says there is no evidence to support that bubbled tips indicate a healthy or unhealthy anenome. Just some do and some dont. Some never do and some do only some of the time. People have different theory's as to why but nothing has beed disproven as of yet.

I received my green BTA from a friend's mother, who was keeping them under very low lighting (2 watts/gal in a 65 tall). When I got it, its tentacles were very stringy, and she said they'd always been that way. But when he settled down in my tank under higher lighting, the tentacles began to develop bubbled tips, and now the anemone looks much happier in general. I was unders the impression that bubble tip anemones go stringy when they need higher lighting or food. However, mine lived for a year under low light, and its parent has lived that way for three years, so I guess you never know.
