Bubbles???

Problem or not? My two filters and Protein skimmer create a lot of bubbles that stick to the algae on my live rock (on the top rocks that is). Is this a problem or is that ok?

i would say no you dont have to worry. it wont hurt anything. however i would find the source of bubbles and stop it. what type of pump to you have. you may just have a air leak. i just patched one up about half hour ago on my little giant. they are know for that. well not little giants. just bad plumbing

I think the bubbles are caused by the water pooring back inn from the filter not an airleak (I could be wrong) and no my water level is not too low.

wright when it pours back in the main tank there should be no bubbles unless like you said.............your water level is to low. that can get messy. you will have salt crust all over the place. i would buy a extention to bring it down in the water just to keep that from happening. plus it cause the more and more noise. you hear that splasing water hitting your surface. if this is not that case i would say you have a little air getting in somewhere. what is you return pump? is it submerisble or a external pump?

well is it small little tiny bubbles or is it big bubbles? same remains for the questions about the pump

Ok I guess I am an idiot. My level must be low, guess i didnt realize how high it had to be. You tipped me off with the salt crust. Can I just add more water???

i would add freash water. if its just a little. only if it does not affect your salinaty.
