bug/minishrimp looking things

i have a 130 gal with overflow and 30gal below.
i sectioned the 30 gal off into three sections, one for the incomming water from 130 gal, one with lights to grow alge and one for the pump.
in the alge section i noticed tiny bug or mini shrimp looking things, could anyone tell me what these are and if they are good or bad

Probably mysis shrimp, or coepods. These are very beneficial. Do a few searches on these, and you can learn alot. Congrats and welcome to the boards!

"shrimplike" are probably amphipods, but still beneficial
