bugs?

hello i was looking in my tank today and i had my face like an inch from the glass and i saw lots of little white bug looking things all over the glass they are very small and if your not clese just look like spots on the glass i was wondering if anyone had a clue what they could be.

i heard that they were beneficial if its what im thinking of. copeopods maybe?
