Building a sump out of an aquarium

Does anyone have plans on how to build a sump out of an aquarium. I have a fowlr that would like to turn into rreef but want to turn an unused aquarium into a sump with bioballs/additional live rock.
I figure a return pump would be needed which is fine but the sumps seem to have different compartments (that I imagine I can make with plexi-glass) and the return can be pvc.
Well, if anyone has plans on how this is done, it would be greatly appreciated.

First off, many people on this forum will tell you that plexi-glass is a bad choice for a number of reasons (it discolors, gets brittle and cracks, and doesn't bond to glass well). Go for glass baffles, then you can simply secure them using aquarium silicone. Once you have a cut list you should be able to find a custom window company that will cut the glass for you (most people recommend 1/4" glass for baffles). There are many plans from other users. Check out the archives for some good ones. There is a plumbing 101 thread that has a lot of great information (make sure you have several hours to kill for that one!). Also www.melevsreef.com has a lot of great ideas.
