building your own tank

has anyone tried to build their own tank. I am looking to build my own tank around the size of three hundred gallons and was wanting to know if anyone knew of any body that had directions or knew about it.

there are many ways to build your own tank
and there are a lot of directions on various sites
IMO it's not a worthwhile project due to the expense of the materials.When you think about it
the tank is one of the cheaper expenses.compared
to all the equipment and it's the one piece that
can not fail even a little bit. If it's for a
display tank why risk it?Check around for used
setups always somebody getting out of the hobby.
