built in skimmer?

what does every one think about the skimmers built into the wet dry system. sea life systems has a filter with skimmer built in. i think this might be the way to go like 2 birds with one stone. any thoughts are helpful

Be careful! The biggest problem that I have heard from most suppliers is that built in skimmers are not built very well. A skimmer by itself is made by the correct width, height, and power. Unfortunately, combo skimmers have to fit with in the requirments set by the wet/dry box. I bought one not knowing but the wet/dry works great. Remember to always get the next size up in filtration than your max. allowance. You can add a prizim skimmer on the back of your tank.

I have 2in1 deal, It's not what you guys are talking about with the wet/dry and all but it's those bak-paks skimmer/biofilter. The skimmer part on that deal works great. VERY easy too. more expensive is not always better (usually but not always)
