Tonight for night feeding, went downstairs and saw no BTA looked behind the tank and there it is. Deflated, looking real bad. Disc still attached. Call it dead and chuck it. WC and hope?
I,ve read that they stink when dead. I don't smell any funk yet.
Temp. 87
Sal. 1.027
Nitrate way high 1.5
Looked fine this morning. I know my tank parm. are not too good but would this make it do this in less then 7 hours.
Looked like this this morning

Thanks,
Dazoc

Looks fine in the picture, maybe a lil stressed but it sure as heaven not dead. By the way anemones inflate and deflate, its natural.

Its probably pooping, deflated does not mean its dead, anemones go through all sorts of changes. Loks great in pic

Isn't your temp a little on the high side? 87 right? Just wondering. I try and keep mine around 80.
And all anemone's like better water parameters.

My LTA is looking lazy and kind of stringy I tried to feed him a silverside this morning he would'nt take it.I just got him Saturday I was wondering if it's becuase my tank hit almost 86 degrees last night.I took my glaas tops off and put a fan on my sump and now it's a steady 80.Now if I could'nt only get my Naso to eat, but that's a whole nother forum.

Wow, 86? Geez that will cause some damage, how'd that happen. Check ur heater. Ive noticed that when an anemone doesn't look too good dont feed it, it just causes it more stress
