On of my fish has an eye that looks like it is about to pop out. Any suggestions on what it is and how I can fix it?

That is called "Pop Eye". Is the fish new? Has he been netted recently? When it is on one eye like that it is usually a scrape on the eye. Dose the foods with Vitachem and Zoecon. The fish can heal himself but he needs his immune system boosted. You can also treat him in a fully cycled QT with maracyn2 for SW fish.

That is pop-eye. The fish needs to be quaratined and treated with an antibiotic. If the eye rupture's the fish will go blind in that eye.
So begin treating quickly....use Maracyn-Two. But make sure to use the powdered stuff, the liquid doesn't work. Just cured my fish of it not to long ago and he is now better than ever!!

I am going to suggest that if your water is excellent... that you leave him where he is. IN MY EXPERIENCE.... PE usually goes away on its own assuming he is in a good environment and not fighting or stressed out.

My clown had pop-eye and I just soaked all the food in zoe and zoecon rotated each day. After about a week of that it all cleared up. I also treated my clow with them same treatment as above for fin rot all with great success. Or you can move him to a Q/T and treat with anti-biotics. Just my .02

I have also treated pop eye with just a rotation of vitamins. I use Vitachem and Zoecon. It is remarkable what fish can heal from when they are healthy
