Bulk Trash!!!!

Sunday was my lucky day! :D I was going home from a friend's house and low-and-behold there was an entire aquarium setup sitting outside waiting to be picked up from bulk trash!! I'm not sure, but it looks around 30 gallons. It had a stand, two filters, lights, and a 150W heater. I was considering buying another tank for QT purposes, I don't have to anymore! I soaked and cleaned EVERYTHING with bleach and water, and it looks brand new.
Keep looking out guys, you never know what might end up outside in your neighborhoods!

Jes; Good going it pays to watch for things. We have trucks that cruise the area whenever it is trash day. One day I watched a woman with a nice looking van stop at my neighbors and try to wedge a plastic play house in the van. Of course it didn't fit and after much pushing and probably paint scratching she gave up (yes I could have offered to help but I was having too much fun watching her). My next door neighbor must be a pack rat every week there is another computer or TV sitting with his trash (he is retired used to be in real estate and must have picked up stuff from commercial real estate sites). This has been going on for over a year and the cars come by trunks open things go in and away they go.

nice fand man! thats pretty cool, you just saved yourself some cash. i once found a 20 dollar bill in the gas station parking lot :eek: . but, i have tons and tons off fishing lures that i have found just floating around in the lake/ocean. i have saved alot on these. maybe one day ill find a 135g with everything on the curb. bo
