bulkhead overflow how much GPH??

My LFS had me drill a 1 1/4" hole in the upper cornor of my 105g and sold me a bulkhead fitting for it.. I believe that the inside size of the BH is 1", I plan to use 1" flex PVC to send the over flow to my sump and a lil' to my refugium. I want to know what will the GPH rate be for this type of over flow?? I need to know so that I can make sure I get the right size return pump

I would think you should get at least 600 or so. Just guessing, but if you look at overflows the tubing isn't any bigger and they are rated at 600.
You will have to factor in head preasure when buying a pump. Including all elbows.
IMO buy a bigger pump and install a ball valve on the output of the pump to regulate the flow to where you want it.

Thank Plato :D
I figured that with a regular overflow box its has to siphon up the U tube then over one baffle and then through a "pre" sponge filter..so I would think with a BH fitting overflow it should? be more

I have no idea, but with a 58G tank you don't need to have anymore flow going through the sump.

Ahh.......I lost you there Plato....The bulkhead over flow is on the 105g I'm setting up. My 58g is all set as it is...as is only going to be taking down as soon as the 105g is ready for whats in the 58g
