Burned bubble tip anemone

I'm posting this thread for a friend that doesn't have access to the internet at work.
It appears, last night his bubble tip anemone wrapped itself around the tank heater (300 watt). When the heater turned on, the BTA was burned. It seems some of the tenticles(?) and the top of the body were burned. What should he do?
He doesn't have a QT tank and to make matters worse, he's leaving for the weekend tonight and won't return until Sunday evening.

Your friend won't have to QT. Mine (condy) just recently got stuck in the power head and then the filter, with each of these occurances I unplugged, and let it find it way out and settle again. Now, with the heater, thats a different story. (1) Too many factors involved, most importantly the temp. change and, (2) who's to say it will let go. IMO, maybe try to point a powerhead at it and then it may let go because of too much current and then access the situation. And if it does and it should, move it and keep an eye on it. Hopefully you are there to see what happens (or someone else is). HTH
