Butterfly Fish

Ok i just bought a Long nose butterfly fish at my LFS, but they said brine shrimp is ok for him to eat. He won't eat. I've called up a different FS and the said Blood Worms, Brine Plus, Prime Reef, and sometime flakes. Is this correct? Any suggestions. He is really cool looking, and i had one before but he die because of no oxygen. I'm going to my LFS to buy all those things for him and see what he'll eat. Please Reply ASAP. Thank You

they like veggie type foods also, try lettuce or Formula 2. Later Lisa

I had one of those fish for close to 4 years. Have to admit that I even cycled my 135 in 97 with it (it died this year finally). It would eat just about anything its little mouth would hold. It was a great fish and for a butterfly about the hardest one I ever had. The foods mentioned should all work. You say you just bought it give it a little time to get used to its tank.
