Button Polyp Die-Off? Help!

I have five button polyps and two have collapsed backwards on itself... is this die-off. They usuall close up after they feed, but this time they are closed the opposite way on its stem.

I have one that has done the exact same thing. I would like to know the answer to that myself.

do you mean like inside out? that is strange, i woul dlike to see a picture if available, sorry i cant be more help

mine do that once in a while and dont die. my theory is that a piece of food hit the outside of the lip and the greedy little polyp doesnt want to lose it. it looks weird but they always live.

very nice looking palys, I wouldnt worry. just keep an eye on it, palys are really hardy.
