button polyps vs. yellow polyps

I have a piece of rock with 3 yellow polyps standing together and are completely surrounded by button polyps. I'm asuming that the yellow polyps will not spread because of the button polyps. I prefer the yellow polyps. What are the chances of the yellow polyps spreading if I remove some of the button polyps away from the immediate area of the yellows(I know the buttons tend to spread easily)? Any suggestions? Thanks!

It's worth the try. I would suggest moving the some of the surrounding ones to another rock.STEVE

I had the same situation. I let nature take its course. I ask you.
"Would you like some yellow polyps, FREE"
I wish I could stop them from spreading so much.
