20 is hard to keep if your not sure what your doing.
it is an expenseive hobby, but there are ways to "get around it"
a: do your homework first/ask questions. this will prevent you from buying something you dont need.
b:buy used equip, if the $ is reasonable. you can always find used tanks/stands for sale in the paper or online, if your local
c: start with a fish only... if you become addicted, you can always upgrade to a reef tank... some people, like myself, do not intend to go reef, so its really not that bad
d: read threads, read threads, read threads... a little bit of research on here can save you $$$ (as in what to do or what not to do... in this hobby, it seems to be more of what not to do)
e: read more threads
f: enjoy!
