Buying corals off saltwaterfish.com

I am not new to this hobby, so I know corals can be quite fragile. I have not ordered live corals off this website before, and the guarantee seems fishy. I really want to know if all your live orders made it(without bleaching). Also will you please include how your orders are currently doing and if the corals/fish looked like they did on the catalog?

I bought fish and corals from here several times, I would say 6 or 7. I am very pleased with all my orders. They ship it overnight, and I gave them my work address because order comes in teh first part of the day. I never got dead or sick fish, or bad coral. And descriptions are accurate. I never tried returning corals, but I had two fish died within a week (two separate orders), amd I sent the dead fish to them and got a credit.
I would recommend them greatly.

I actually have checked few other sites before, and they all have huge shipping rates and some weird surcharges, like box charge BS. So, even the price is a little lower somewhere else, you will end up paying much more with shipping.

A+ service.
I have ordered here from her 13 or 14 times so far. I ordred 5 shrimp shrimp before. Two were dead in the bag no place to be found in the bag. They replaced them no questions asked. Then I did have one coral that did not make the 15 day guarantee. They replaced it.

Any time you purchase anything over the internet you are taking a gamble. In most cases it is a small gamble, but still a gamble. You are placing a live animal in a bag and shipping it however many miles. They get picked up by someone from a shipping company to put it frankly does not give a crap placed in a hot(or cold) truck and driven acrossed country. I have personally seen a Fed Ex guy stand on my sidewalk and toss a package of corals onto my front steps about 15 feet away. I have heard horror stories from people who work for these shipping companies of kids at wharehouse tossing and kicking packages that say fragile. People just don't care anymore. In my opion UPS is the best shipping company. Fed Ex has a lot of delays and lost packages. I prefer local purchases over anything else. You know what the exact coral or fish looks like and you can observe it. Your observations mean a lot.

Its been said - but I'll chime in with my orders - no problems. I ordered stuff once at like 1 or 2PM Thursday thinking it would not ship until Monday of the following week and it was delivered about 9:30 the next morning. I've recommended SWF.com to a lot of folks and not heard anything bad come back from them either

Things ordered: Shrimps, clams, couple corals, snails, crabs.......... few fish........ copods............ I'm sure I'm missing a thing or two but none the less I have full confidence in buying with them now.

I am a repeat customer of theirs 4-6 times. They are extremely easy to work with and their grtee is true. I have had crabs, shrimp, corals, and many fish shipped to me. Lost a few and always credit/refunded not problem! Also, if you need to call them, they are extremely helpful and nice. They even check with the livestock handlers, while you are on the phone, and let you know just what the fish you have ordered are eating before you get them! That's personal service!

I have never bought anything from SWF.com. I was just telling you how it is when you buy anything from anyone over the internet and get it shipped. Shipping is stressful to the animal and is a gamble any way you cut it. Like I said most times it works out, but you have to be aware of the other side of the coin. Bad things can and do happen, not the norm, but they can happen.

yeah, all the stuff I have got are very healthy. the shipments were tiny often however, that was agitating, but you get what you pay for i guess. Tiny mushrooms and fish.
