Buying Corals Online...

Where do you buy your corals? Since SWF doesn't seem to offer much in the coral section of U-Build It. Where do you get your? My LFS store has limited corals & I have shared orders with another hobbist in the past. Other than that I have to drive 1-1/2 to Houston to get anything. Does anybody order there's online and from where? If you could would you send a link via email to me. Thanks for the assistance.

I guess I am lucky because Atlanta has LFS' everywhere. Man, I am sorry to hear you have to go so far. But, it might be a better choice. Especially if you can call them and place some orders for a scheduled pick up. I am not so trusting of places online. You cant look at the specimen before you buy. You don't really know if it is healthy, sized correctly, etc. Big time risk. Sorry I couldn't help more... but maybe you have a blessing in disguise. Good luck. :cool:

I have to agree with HairTrigger. You also do not have the opportunity to look at the setup they have supporting the coral that you are buying. If you have been in many LFS as myself I am sure that you have been in some that you would prefer to not buy anything from. You are putting alot of faith into a place that you have not seen. Although I will say that I have ordered things online and I did not have any problems. So please do not let me scare you from trying any sites that some people may suggest. You may want to place a small order to try them out, and then you can go all out. The extra shipping my save you alot of headaches.

E-mail me and let me know where you are at. I'm about an hour North of Houston. I can let you know a few places to order online and where I go in Houston. I may be able to pick something up for you when I go sometime or share an order with you.
