When buying LR should they fill the bag all the way with water, half way, a little bit or no water at all when you purchase from the LFS?

While I didn't buy my LF from my LFS I do know that whenever it is purchased from there they pack it completely immersed in water. Bigger bags than for fish usually, but the same double bag process.
Other than picking out specific pieces of rock, the only advantage of buy from a LFS (that I can think of anyway, sure isn't cost ) is that it needent be exposed to air for ANY period of time, other than to bag it.

when you buy it ask them to put it in a bag and fill it with water or i myself bring a large ice chest and have them fill it with water. I'd rather not have the rock out of water for any more time then need be.

the rock is fine out of water, just keep it damp, ours wraps it in wet newspaper and puts some water in a styro box for us(but does not emerge it, only a coulple of pints for a 29 pounder), and i have to drive 1.5 hrs+ to get home, and our polyps and feather dusters are still alive, that was @3.5 months ago
