Buying lighting!????

How many Watts Per Gallon is needed for a 29 gallon reef tank. I want some softies and shrooms and might want to upgradein the future so i need lighting that will work with any coral or corals i want to add...... Help

Two or three 55W or 65W PC would work well for keeping softies and mushrooms in a 29 gallon reef.

I didn't read the part about you wanting to eventually keep anything in your tank. In that case, I would look at a 175W MH light or a 150W double-ended HQI metal halide pedant. If you go MH, be careful where you place the softies in relation to the light.
