So ive finally decided to go with a set of 2 metal halides with a T-5 actinic supplement for my soon be build DIY canopy. So I went to hellolights and found the stuff that I needed and wanted to know everyone elses opinion on the stuff I will be getting before I go and spend $600 on lights. Heres the link, hope the mods dont delete it.
Tell me what you think.

The mods will delete your link, and since we can't see what you bought from that link anyways (you can't link someone else to a shopping cart), can you just list out what you've selected?

Ok so heres the list of the stuff that ive decided to buy:
-2 ARO 150/175w Electronic ballasts w/ 10000k XM bulb and socket
-2 parabolic reflectors
-48" 2x54w T-5 HO retrofit kit
-18g 33ft Solid Core Wire (not exactly sure if I need this or not)
-2 Coralife 3.125" fan cooling kits
-Coralife Digital Powercenter
I just got rid of the link so I can just save the mods the trouble.

It looks like you have all the major components.
The wire you shouldn't need. The solid core wire is normally used to wire fluorescent fixtures internally, but a retro kit should have all the wire you need already.
What is missing on the wire front though is wire to connect the ballasts to the fixtures, unless it's already included. For this, you need 18ga or larger (for 175w) 3 conductor wire. You can buy this by the foot at any hardware or home improvement store. It's commonly called "SJ Cord" after one particular variant of it, the rubber covered type SJ cable. Again though, check to be sure it's not already included before you go buying it.

Are you talking about the T-5 wire or the Metal Halide ones? All that the metal halide says it that it comes with:
150/175W electronic ballast, two reflectors with Mogul base, grounded power plug, wire nuts, two 175W mogul base lamps.
And then the T-5 says that it come with:
Sunlight's exclusive Tek-2 reflector with 95% reflective German material
- Domestic brand ballast runs 2 lamps
- Stucchi Waterproof End-caps
- Icecap-Easy mounting Stand-Offs
- 8 ft of paired 18g wiring
- 6 ft power cord
- Everything you need to get started (lamps not included)
- Ballast operates at lamp specifications for longer lamp life.

What I was saying is that a fluorescent retro kit usually comes wiht the wires, I was led to believe by your post that you were buying additional wire, which would not be necessary.
However, it is also not completely clear if the list you had includes wire to connect the ballasts to your halide fixtures, as the ballast in halide fixtures is usually remote (located in a separate box). The solid core wire is not suitable for that.

they come with enough to put your ballast 10Ft from your lights if i am not mistaken. they ship all wire as 18g individual insulated.

i am pretty sure they send solid wire for the aro electronic ballasts for going between the fixture and ballast
