I am sad to say this is my last post. 2,200 post's and I am DONE. Allot of good people have left here and continue to do so , that is a result of this site paying NO attention to what we wanted as a "community" I know they feel it in their bottom line. If they were not so bull headed things would be much different here. This place ROCKED! as did the members , most of us have moved on to a new site that cares about what its members want. I will miss those of you ( are there really ANY of you still here??) who stay. REALLY bad move SWF.... you have made allot of people very sad.....SEE YA

You joined in January of 2008. I am sorry to see you go but it happens. This site has grown immensely over the years. You only caught a glimpse of this site and it's progress. Things get fine tuned. Some can accept change, some cannot... See ya

this is the 2nd time since i have been on this site that the regular posters have left with new regulars and new ideas replacing them. its all about evolution.
as for other sites, if you dont like the little politicle spats on the aquarium wait till you read them on lightning, skimmers, and many other areas.

I am always sorry to see anyone leave...I actually cried when I almost left. I have a bit of wisdom my granddaughter taught me, at 2 years old
Don't look Nana, it will just upset you.
If you don't like the political, religious posts just skip over them and don't read them. I personally hate, hate , hate politics and sports.
However, I love, love, love the rest.
So if you sneak a peek and read this...Please don't leave and take all your experience with you. We newbes need folks like you to show us the way.

I am saddened by the people that leave after I have come to know them a bit by the interaction here on the site. However I am amazed that people will leave because one of the rules have changed. I guess if you were here with that thing as a major part of being here then the interaction with others did not mean anything in the first place. Still some good folk here.

the problem is that ONE rule is such an integral part of the hobby. All the others can be lived with imo.
but, asking for names of other forums is also gonna get you in trouble. nwdyr probably doesn't care if he's banned... but just be careful if you do care

I guess that is kind of what I mean, is there not room enough to keep posting here for the interaction and look to other sites for that ONE thing? Or do you throw out the baby with the bath water?
IDK, there are other things on here that cause me to go
from time to time, but something like the ONE thing can be had so many other places that it does not bother me so much.
Oh well as with anything, each to hisher own.

well, not only the forums, but the mods have to shut down, edit, and/or remove any thread that has to do with selling/trading.
if someone says "wow, i love that zoa, when are you fragging it, i'd love to buy one" the thread has to be edited... etc.
btw, this thread is gonna get shut down since this topic is not up for discussion...
