C-Balance

i use it and my calcium stays about 450 to 500 so i think it works well

Do you just use C-Balance to maintain the calcium or did you start of with C-Balance. Iam fairly new to adding calcium to the tank.

i started using it when i first put corals in....if you follow the directions it is hard to mess up....but yes i use it to maintain...but i do test and if it test ok i dont add any...

I use it to maintain along with Kalkwasser and Kents Liquid Reactor. I have a farely high calcium consumption for my tank(which is only a 20gal with a 10gal sump) so I dose 7ml A and 9ml B along with 4ml of Kents LR everyday to keep my calcium/alkalinity stable. IMO c-balance is best used when you figure out the calcium consumption of your tank and dose accordingly. If you just follow the directions on the back you can easily get your cal./alk. levels out of whack. This why I dose 2 more ml of B, because my alkalinity is used up a little faster than calcium in my tank so I dose accordingly. Hope this helps.

I used c-balance for awhile but I found I was having to add more and more to maintain levels. I switched to b-ionic over a year and ahalf ago and it has worked very well. Its a bit more costly, but I think its worth it.

I was reading the ingredients list and the part A has copper chloride in it. The word copper is a little unsettling. Any opinions on that. Thanks
