c.c. to sand

i have a 30long and am upgrading to 55gal .my ? is how should i proceed to change from u.g. with c.c. to live sand and rock? can i use existing water? do i have to cycle all over again? what about fish?help,thanks

If there is nothing in the 55 just add your dsb with live rock and watch for a cycle or it may not with good sand and rock.
