calcium additions

Ok, I guess I should start looking at adding calcium soonish. Im not sure how to set up this drip outfit with kalkwasser and so I havent bought any yet.
Is there an easier way to add it? I mean, is there a good brand you could mix up and just add to your tank without screwing around with the balances of other stuff?

Before you add or drip anything, 1 important question.....Do you know what your Ca level is? Test before adding anything.

You can make a DIY calcium and Alk. But like stated above, you must now your levels or you can mess up pretty easy when adding stuff. Read this article, it's what I do and beat paying the price for over the counter two parts. I use recipe 1. http://reefkeeping.com/issues/2006-02/rhf/index.php

Thanks! I wasnt planning on going out and getting anything yet! I know to check paremeters first on anything I add, so I was just trying to be prepared as I'm adding corals slowly.....and dont want to not be prepared in the event I need it.
