calcium deposits

Hi what is the best method of removing cal. deposits on my prtoein skimmer and pumps .Tried white vinegar no help i seen some stuff at the store called cr something and limeaway would these be safe to use without leaving any residue behind? thanks

anything that leaves a residue wouldn't be good ....Try soaking in bleach water..I don't know if that will take off the deposits though...
