Calcium Tester

Can anyone recommend a good calcium tester that you don't have to keep adding drops to? One that isn't too expensive, but accurate?

no such thing. The best way to test calcium is one drop at a time.

Hmmm...I have a nutrafin...I'll have to look into sailfert...I just figured there was some sort of hand held tester like they have for ph etc.

Yes there is but it will cost you $250 for a digital calcium tester. The saliferts calcium test kid costes between $25 and $30 depending on where you look for it.

Whoo hoo!!! Figured it would be high, but that's ridiculous...I'll stick with the drops...LOL

I hate the drops as well.. I use API which came as a kit to test for alk and phosphates as well.

Well, yeah, I forgot that there was a digital CA reader. heh. my bad.

If I rember right they need to be recalibrated every time you use them, and the probes don't last long.
