Calcium To High

Please help I am a little confused. I noticed a couple of days ago that my Green Star Ployps were not opening. I checked water parameters and all was well except my Calcium was a little high at 500ppm. I went ahead a did a 10% water change, to see if I could get it set back to 450. Well this seemed to work and all is good again, but my Green Star Ployps still won't come back out. Please tell me what you think the problem could be.

Janeen,
There have been a few threads in the past month or so about this problem. It happens with GSP, I wouldn't worry about it, they'll come out soon.

Give them a week. They take a while sometimes. If the mat starts turning white then they are dying. I highly doubt that will happen.
