I would like to add Seachem Reef Advantage Calcium to my top off water I would like to know if this would be ok? I have 5 gallon jug for my top off water and the jug is hooked to a float switch.
You can, there are directions for this on the package, under the "Expert" directions. You first need to determine your rate of consumption and go from there with the formula.
Not your evaporation consumption, but the rate at which you are using Calcium in the tank. All tanks will be different, depending on what animals are being kept.

I use it most all the time with my top off. Just do not overdose. My tank sucks up Calcium very fast. I also use Kalk, just watch your Alk level and keep things in balance.
