WHAT IS THE EFFECT OF TO MUCH CALCIUM IN THE WATER. I FINALLY GOT A TEST KIT FOR CALCIUM AND LEVEL WAS OVER 850 PPM.TANK IS 40 GAL.
WHITH 6 SMALL FISH AND 18 CORALS AND ABOUT 60 POUNDS OF LIVE ROCK. NO PROBLEMS THAT I HAVE SEEN.

If you are dosing calcium,it will reach a point where the water cannot absorb any more and will become cloudy.This cloud is the extra calcium. As for the affect on the inhabatants,I'm not really sure. You should be around 400 for the reading.
