Calico Crab

I recently purchased a pregnant Calico Crab. It seems as though it just released the babies but, they are no where in site. I was just wondering if they lay eggs or if it is a live breed. Also, if they do release eggs, do they stay with them or abandon them.

I am new here and I see you had a litter a couple years back, any luck what happened? I have a calico that has been carring her eggs around for a few weeks and they hatched today, Babies everywhere in an isolated tank.
