Calling All Bamboo Shark Keepers

I have a chance to get a bamboo shark tomorrow (Tuesday). I could get it, bring it home for Wensday and then Thursday I would be leaving to go camping for 4-5 days. Does that sound like a bad idea?

If the shark your buying looks healthy and well feed then it can survive 5 days w/o feeding, is there some reason you have to pick it up before you leave? Is there anyone you can rely on to watch/feed it while your gone?
