I know several of us own these Brazilain Golden Moray's (aka Canary, Banana, etc) on this board. I'm curious to other owners feeding habits and the eels eating habits from real owner experiences.
Mine is BY FAR my most timid of my three moray's and is somewhat a wus come feeding time. I feed him raw thawed shrimp chunks as that is all he seems interested in. I've tried Krill, Silversides, clams, etc.
I'm trying to bulk this little 14-15" guy up so he can go into my 240g and move on out of my 75g. But with his timid eating habits he would not fair well with my greedy fish and Snowflake in the 240g.
This guy will only eat 2-4 small pieces of shrimp every few days and I almost have to put it under his nose. The small white eye that lives with him out eats him 2-3 to 1 and always seems to be ready for the next meal.
Is their a better diet or something that has worked for others?
Curious to others feedback and exp.
