Calling all RO users

I have to bite the bullet and purchase an RO unit....
I trust they are not all created equal....?
What is recomended, what is the best?, what is the worst?

I bought a 5 stage RO for 150 bucks at Cosco (like a Sams). Its very slooooowwwww...... 25 gallons per day...... But it works and it was cheap!

Pay the little bit extra and get the Kent Maxxima HiRes 60 gpd. You will be happy you did when you avoid the bad stuff that silicates can cause.

most of the drinking model RO only have 1 micron filters, while i think most of the fishtank ones use .1 micron filters. I got m7y kent maxxima RO/DI 60 gpd for only 125. all you have to do is shop around for them. I love my kent BTW it was an easy install and works like a charm. one thiong to remember is that it is atleast 60 GPD so it may be more. I had it in a 40 gal container left for 4 hrs and came back with my kitchen full of water.
