camera help plz

i have a fuji,fine pix 3800
when i turn it on i get a zoom error .
can somebody help me plz

I suppose we are supposed to know everything in the world? Will you drop your "new forum" as soon as they don't answer a question? See what I'm saying? Do you really expect us to know everything? Cool down, stick around, and enjoy both forums, or leave because we didn't answer one question......it's your choice. I would guess the lens was stuck, but I don't have a Fuji.

I didn't see your post until just now but, your zoom error means that the cameras lens is jammed cockeyed. It can be fixed sometimes by grabbing ahold of the lens and straightening it out........you may have to take it to a camera dealer.

well not out ...lol but had me a bad day and night.....but this place is so clicky,,and i cant get over the new set up,hate it sry all for the ignorant post ..just drove me nuts to see so many views and no replys...

what did you expect people who view but can't help you to reply and give you the wrong answers? this way you can get angry with them? get some patience, also maybe fuji has a customer service line that you can call, that would have been my first answer instead of a saltwater fish board!
note to self: put filter between brain and keyboard before typing!

elitsoH, glad to see you're still around. I'm just saying you can't expect us to know everything. Look at it this way.....views mean that people would like to help and they clicked to see if they could, but lack of replies simply means they didn't know. Really, there's only a few folks here with good camera knowledge. Next time, stick Ryebreads name in the topic title, he'll look faster, and you'll make him feel important. Good luck with the camera.
