camera help

i purchased a usb card reader to plug the memorie card from my digital camera into so that i could upload pictures onto the pc and the computor doesnt respond to the usb card reader it doesnt even know that it is in the computor what do i do?

That is not a camera problem.
Have you tried restarting the computer with the card reader attached?

what OS are you using ? 95/98/2k/xp ?
and are you sure those usb ports are active/working ?

ports work fine and the os is microsoft millenium
