Camera play time...join the fun

Hey all, I was playing with the pictures that I took a few weeks ago, and noticed that the camera saw things that I don't always see. The first pic is of my crocea clam through the glass with the halides on. The second is of the same clam top down. They look like two different clams.

why is it that clams do that, mine is the same way and today at my lfs thad a small clam that from the top was like "bam" green and from the side is was purple

The same reason why certain colors on the larger denomination bills change color when you tilt the bill side to side up or down.....magic. Eat your heart out david copperfield.

What a beauty....yes, they are soooooo much more beautiful from the top down, but when people see the tank it is from the front glass, not top down!!! They should make a system that the lights hit the side of the front glass too, without blocking out the view of course.
