I love the pictures that I see posted on this forum. However, I can't seem to get the level of quality or detail out of my camera. I know my camera is a bit outdated. I bought it a few years ago for 800 bucks. It's a Cannon Powershot S20. Lighting is a problem. When I turn off the flash, pictures are dark. Flash on, you get the white spot on the picture. And if you get to close to capture detail, it blurs. grrrhhhh
I am in the market to buy a new camera. I am curious, what do you all use? I have been sizing up the Nikon D100 camera. My sister n law is into camera gear big time. She said you need a good macro lens.
I would appreciate a good digital camera recomendation. I would be looking in the 1-2 thousand dollar range. What do you suggest?
