Camera?

I won an online poker tournament last weekend this cash is burning a hole in my pocket. I want a new camera. I currently have a Cannon Powershot (Old 2.0 MP). It takes awful pictures. I can usually draw better than this thing takes photos.
What kind of cameras are good for fish photography? What kinds do you guys use? Would you mind posting an example pic and explain how you took it and with what camera?
