can a proteinskimmer help with cloudy water

here is the problem i hav a agrressive tank with messy eatersw like my triggers,puffer,lionfish,eel,etc. but when they eat they are real messy and they crap alot i hav a biology filter but the water has been cloudy for a while !

Protein skimmers do a fantastic job of making the water more clear. In an aggressive set-up, I think they are as important as in a reef, since it will remove a large amount of waste before it even has time to enter the nitrogen cycle. It would be a wise investment.
